Kyrie Irving scored seventeen points as Dallas beat Houston 132–115 in a preseason game in Macau. The appearance was his first competitive outing since a knee ligament injury in March 2025, ending a layoff of nearly twenty months.
The Mavericks immediately involved him, with Cooper Flagg setting up a reverse layup on the opening possession. Irving finished with six successful shots from thirteen attempts in just under twenty-two minutes, adding three assists and two rebounds.
Dallas coach Dusty May praised both his physical condition and his composure after the long absence. A preseason performance does not establish an entire regular-season outcome, but the outing provided a concrete first step back into organised competition and a positive initial test of his return.
